Hi John, tough week with 3 of the lads blanking but very enjoyable all the same. beautiful lake and great to see it run so naturally. Paul's attitude to allowing the anglers to work it out for themselves and only offering advice when asked is in my opinion, the only way to do it. I did not feel at any stage like we were fishing a commercial venue of any type more like an invite to a private water, and that was why I chose your lake in the first place and was not disappointed.
Father and son Paul & John managed a 47plus (new pb for them) and a 26 common, Sid (the stalker) winkled out 4 biggest going 39 and I had 5 up to mid 30's with a lovely common which made my week, will have the lads send you on the pics - have attached one of mine for you. Sent Paul a text to thank him again (and pick his brains on a few public waters!) but not sure if he got it, I think the number you gave me for him was a mobile? anyway will without doubt recommend your lake to like minded anglers. all the best and tight lines.
