Cas-en-Lac - French Carping Perfection

Bit early with this one I was phoned on Sat as a 37lb came from swim 1 after 10 minuits and swim 10 had a 54.8 and a 37 on the mat at the same time all less tha 4 hours after starting fishing.

I was then told on sunday morning another 3 fish had been out. Full report when this week finishes.

Steve and the lads had a great week. Having fished here before and had good results they were right up for it but with changable weather it was looking to be a harder week than they have had previously. Andy in swim 1 ended up with 14 fish including 6 30's with 4 30+ commons and topped off with a 47lb mirror!

Nevill had opted to fish swim 10 after last time blanking there!!!!... he had a 37lb and 54.8lb mirror both on the mat at the same time after an hours of fishing. He also had three rods all scream off together in more than one occasion and ended up with 7 30's t0 39lb.

The other lads struggled to keep up withn this catch rate but steve moved from swim 4 to 6 and banked 9 fishing from Wednesday to Friday including 3 30's to 35lb.

All the 8 lads caught and all of them having a 30!!!. The bream started to spawn with the margin water up to 15.5c and the warmer sun starting to show.

They ended up with 24 x 30's 1 x 40 and the 54.8lb with the rest in the 20's. A lake record total of 57 fish and total weight of 1601lb 13oz.
