Hi Jon

A great week had by us all, the new gazebo’s were brilliant and it was nice to meet squiddy. The fish seemed to be mainly held up in the bay in front of peg six and in between 11 and 10 and the two guys fishing these areas starting catching from the off with the rest of the group taking a bit more time and a few moves to save some blanks but all in all 34 fish in total came out comprising 1 x 50 , 5 x 40’s, 11 x 30’s and 17 x 20’s with three PB’s had and the biggest mirror being 56lb 8oz and the biggest common 49lb.

Wayne - Peg 6
First time fishing in France and drawing first out the hat he decided to go for peg 6 which worked out great for Wayne as he had the biggest fish of the trip on the first night! 8 fish in total:
56lb 8oz Mirror, 28lb Mirror, 24lb Mirror ,39lb 8oz Mirror ,23lb Mirror, 24lb Mirror, 37lb Mirror, 24lb Mirror.

Richard - Peg 11
Richard fished peg 11 and had a great week working his one spot really well that was being visited by the fish held up nearby. Richard had 19 fish in total with 16 of his fish coming from the one spot and the other 3 only coming out on the last night after other anglers had moved nearby in turn moving the fish on. Richard managed to bag a new PB in the shape of an awesome 49lb common and also a beautifully scaled stocky of 33lb; his catch comprised of:
49lb common, 47lb mirror, 43lb mirror, 40lb common, 32lb mirror, 31lb mirror, 33lb mirror, 39lb mirror, 30lb mirror, 33lb mirror, 25lb mirror, 29lb mirror, 27lb mirror, 23lb mirror, 23lb common, 26lb common, 26lb mirror, 28lb mirror, 23lb mirror, 28lb mirror.

Steve - Peg 3
A slow start to the week but where others moved Steve decided to stick with his original swim selection of peg 3 and when others had moved this paid off as the fish seemed to move over to him with the new pressure and he ended his week with a 3 fish breaking his PB twice, his catch comprised of:
36lb mirror, 42lb mirror, 24lb mirror.

Jon - Peg 12/10
A difficult week for Jon who started out in Peg 12 but this didn’t manage to produce so on the Thursday he moved into peg 10 and managed to save a blank with a 35lb mirror.

Sam - Peg 4/5
Arguably the most gifted angler of the group and undoubtedly the most handsome drew last out the hat and started in Peg 4 which did not produce for the first 4 nights. Being the proactive and talented angler he is though he upped sticks and moved to peg 5 and managed to tempt out three fish in the end comprising:
32lb mirror, 28lb mirror, 22lb common.

Thanks for having us again and see you in two years!
