Cas-en-Lac - French Carping Perfection

Cas-en-Lac is situated 16km south of Renne in East Brittany and only a 1 hour drive from the port of St Malo. Cas-en-Lac is a 50 year old mature gravel pit which very much resembles an old estate lake. The beautiful 20 acre lake is surrounded by 10 acres of enclosed woodland and with 13 swims to choose from, Cas-enLac offers peaceful and stress free French carp fishing.

Cas-en-Lac is a drive & survive venue that is set in a scenic village boasting a small supermarket, excellent butcher and bakery. There is also a local bar/restaurant that will cater for you if you want a break from cooking. There are also two big supermarkets within 10 minutes drive from the lake. Our season runs from mid March to mid November every year. You can book the lake exclusively or if your group is 4 anglers you can book on a share basis with up to 4 other anglers. All bookings are Saturday midday to Saturday midday. We can also offer you a discounted ferry crossing with some of the main ferry operators so please check our prices before you book!

Fish Stocks
Cas-en-Lac is stocked with over 300 excellent quality fish with a huge head of 30 and 40lb carp, numerious 50's and 4 60's to 68lb+. All our fish are in pristine condition and at the present growth rate this water is going to throw up some even bigger surprises in the very near future.

Facilities
We have fresh running water on the lake with a generator for charging mobiles etc. There is also a fresh water shower, three toilets regularly cleaned.
